Little Mouse Big Christmas

Grandma smiled at Niko through the screen.

“Will you come home for Christmas?”

“I promise, Grandma,” Niko replied.

‍

Niko searched for flights to Italy.

“So expensive!” he sighed.

At last, he found a ticket he could afford.

‍

Suddenly, his phone rang.

“Niko! The Christmas fountain is frozen. Can you help?”

“I'm coming!” Niko said.

‍

The Cat Officer watched Niko work.

“Can he really fix it?” he wondered.

Niko wrapped the frozen pipe carefully.

At last, the water flowed again!

‍

Heavy snow delayed Niko's flight.

“My dad used to meet me every Christmas,” a man said.

“But he passed away last year.”

Niko listened quietly.

Then the captain announced, “We're ready for takeoff!”

‍

At the North Pole, an elf showed Santa an old box dated 2022.

“For Niko, when he's ready,” the label read.

“Santa, did we forget this gift?”

“No,” Santa smiled. “It's time.”

‍

Santa and the elf climbed into the sleigh.

“Why did we wait so long?” asked the elf.

“Some gifts take time,” Santa replied.

And they flew into the snowy sky.

‍

Meanwhile, Niko arrived at the airport.

Snow was falling heavily outside.

He boarded a bus heading towards his village.

‍

Suddenly, the bus stopped.

“I'm sorry, everyone,” said the driver.

“The bus has broken down. We can't go any further.”

“Please call your families to collect you.

‍

Niko checked his phone.

“Oh no! No signal!”

With nobody to call, he had no choice.

He would have to walk home.

‍

Niko spotted a tiny hedgehog in the middle of the road.

He gently picked it up and moved it to safety.

“Be careful on your way home,” he whispered.

Then he continued through the snow.

Niko spotted a stray dog along the snowy road.“Are you lost too?” he asked, gently stroking its head.“Come on, let's go together.”The little dog followed him towards home.

Suddenly, the dog began to bark.Niko stopped and noticed a light in the distance.“What could that be?” he wondered.Together, they walked closer.

“The storm must have damaged the system!” Elf cried.“I checked everything before we left!”Santa smiled calmly. “Don't worry.”“We still have time. Let's take a look.”

Niko stepped forward, amazed to see Santa.“Do you need some help?” he asked.Together, they checked the sleigh's wiring.“Let's test it!” Elf said excitedly.

Elf flew the sleigh into the snowy sky.But moments later, it came crashing down!“Something is still wrong,” Niko said.“Let's check it again.”

Niko found the problem and fixed the wiring.Elf climbed aboard for another test. This time, the sleigh rose smoothly into the sky!“We did it!” Elf cheered.
