‍

Build Your Beautiful Salad

Add the rocket, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, pepper, carrot and butter beans to a large bowl. Toss everything gently together to create a fresh, colourful base for the plate.

‍

Add Your Protein

For this plate, I chose smoked salmon. Keep some for the bagels and add a little to the salad. It needs no cooking, which makes it especially easy for a quick summer meal.

‍

Choose Your Carb

For the carb, I chose seeded bagels. Slice each bagel in half, spread with cream cheese, then add sliced tomato and smoked salmon.

‍

Assemble Your Plates

Divide everything between two plates. I use the Angelina’s Plates idea as a simple guide: around half the plate colourful vegetables, one quarter protein and one quarter carb.

It doesn’t need to be exact. The idea is simply to make putting together an everyday meal feel easy and intuitive.
