Orange, Carrot and Ginger Juice

This homemade orange, carrot and ginger juice is bright, fresh and naturally sweet. The oranges bring sweetness, the carrots add body and colour, and the ginger gives it a warm little kick.

  • 3 oranges
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger, about 1–2 cm
  • A little cold water, optional
  • Ice cubes, optional

Prepare the Oranges

Peel the oranges and remove any large seeds. Cut them into smaller pieces so they are easier to blend or juice.

Prepare the Carrots and Ginger

Wash and peel the carrots. Cut them into small pieces. Peel the ginger and slice it thinly.

Blend or Juice

Put the oranges, carrots and ginger into a juicer or blender. If using a blender, add a little cold water to help everything blend smoothly.

Strain if Needed

If you prefer a smoother juice, pour it through a fine sieve. If you like a thicker drink with more fibre, you can leave it as it is.

Serve Fresh

Pour the juice into glasses and serve immediately. Add ice cubes if you like it extra cold.
