Berry Banana Yoghurt Smoothie

This berry banana yoghurt smoothie is creamy, fruity, and refreshing. Blueberries and raspberries give it a beautiful berry-purple colour, while banana and yoghurt make it naturally smooth and gentle. It is perfect for breakfast, a light snack, or a simple homemade drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup plain yoghurt or Greek yoghurt
  • ½ cup milk or plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey, optional
  • 2–3 ice cubes, optional

Prepare the fruit

Peel the banana and break it into smaller pieces. If using fresh berries, wash them well.

Add everything to the blender

Place the banana, blueberries, raspberries, yoghurt, and milk into the blender.

Blend until smooth

Blend for 30–60 seconds, or until the smoothie becomes creamy and smooth.

Taste and sweeten

Taste the smoothie. If you prefer it sweeter, add a small spoon of honey and blend again for a few seconds.

Serve fresh

Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately. It is best served fresh, while it is cold and creamy.
