1) Why do I love the atmosphere?
Because it feels welcoming.
You can walk in at almost any time and still get a hot bowl of pho.
No pressure. No rush. No complicated reservation system.
On a cold and grey London evening,
that bowl of soup feels like comfort you can rely on.
2) Why do I love Vietnamese coffee?
Because it is slow.
The coffee drips down little by little,
meeting the condensed milk at the bottom of the glass.
Bitterness and sweetness don’t mix instantly.
They blend over time.
Isn’t life a bit like that too?
The longer we live, the more layers we taste.
3) Why do I keep coming back?
Because of the people.
The staff are gentle, calm, and genuinely polite.
Not rushed. Not distant.
When I left tonight and said “thank you,”
several of them replied together, “thank you.”
It’s such a small moment.
But it meant a lot.
Sometimes we don’t just “drop by” a restaurant.
We visit it with intention — like visiting a friend.
And being treated with care makes all the difference.
