After my cancer treatment, I entered a strange stage of recovery.
My body was slowly getting better, but emotionally, I still felt a little lost. I knew I wanted to do something meaningful, but I did not know where to begin.
One day, I noticed something interesting while looking through my old social media posts. The posts that received the warmest responses were often the simplest ones — homemade food, small moments at home, everyday life.
Friends would often compliment my cooking and ask me for recipes. To be honest, I never thought of myself as a great cook. I simply enjoy taking care of my family and creating meals that make people feel comfortable.
Sometimes happiness is just a bowl of soup, a simple pasta, or a plate of mussels shared at home after a long day.
The story side of Angelina Studio came from a different place.
After moving to London and going through many life changes — marriage, motherhood, illness, recovery, and rebuilding life again — I realized there were feelings I wanted to express, but in a gentle way.
I have always loved cartoons and picture books. They make me feel calm, safe, and hopeful.
When I started creating Little Mouse, I slowly became emotionally connected to the character. It no longer felt like “just a drawing.” It felt alive to me, with its own journey and personality.
I think the world already gives us enough stress and noise. I do not want Angelina Studio to become another loud place on the internet.
I want it to feel warm.
A place where recipes are simple enough to try at home.
A place where stories are easy to understand, but still healing.
A place where people can pause for a moment and breathe.
I hope Angelina Studio can feel like the warm light waiting for you when you come home late at night — quiet, comforting, and full of gentle stories. For adults, it can be a place to rest. For children, a little wonderland.
